The casino offers a wide variety of gaming, a hotel, spa, entertainment, nightlife, golfing and bowling. These days, Morongo has positive relationships with local government, communities, businesses and groups. In terms of the reservation itself, it was among nine reservations under President Grant’s 1865 executive order. The casino, opened in 2004, sits at the base of the San Gorgonio and San Jacinto Mountains on the Morongo Indian Reservation among more than 32,000 acres with views of the vistas of the Banning Pass.
